These top quality Fire Quartz (Hematoid Quartz) pillow shaped cabochon pendants are awesome. The Hematite inclusions in Quartz from Madagascar form in many grades of clarity from Milky to “water clear”. These pieces have been skilfully carved into pillow shape cabochons using only “water clear” material and set with Sterling Silver findings. Each piece is truly unique, with different patterns form by the red Hematite and many are full of rainbows.

Each piece weighs approximately 8g and measure 2.5cm x 1.8cm. They will be supplied with the standard necklace as shown in the group photo and a sturdy bag to protect the piece when not being worn. Hematoid Quartz, Fire Quartz, Hematite Quartz, Specularite Quartz, or Ferruginous Quartz is the name given to Quartz crystals included with Hematite. It is Quartz that has iron oxide (Hematite) incusions. When the iron oxide (either Hematite or Limonite) is yellow it is often referred to as Golden Healer Quartz. Hematoid Quartz that contains large amounts of the red to reddish-brown iron oxide inclusions is often referred to as Fire Quartz. Often the inclusions appear as tiny reddish brown or black veins through the Quartz causing fractures resulting in a beautiful collection of rainbows.
