This distinctive reddish-brown and cream banded sedimentary rock from the east Kimberley of Western Australia is called “Primordial Stone” and is often confused with another material found in the same area known as “Zebra Rock” or “Zebra Stone”.

This piece weighs 42g, measures 6cm x 3.5cm x 2cm and has a slight sheen on the polished side. Like all Siltstone or Mudstone material a gloss finish is virtually impossible to achieve with standard polishing and requires additional non natural coating.
