Merlinite:-
Dendritic Opal is a form of common Opal that has dark dendritic, tubular or orbicular markings within the base Opal, which can be composed of Manganese, the dendrites (plumes) often appear to be shaped like mosses, ferns or trees.
Please note that Dendritic Opal is also referred to by the metaphysical name of Merlinite, which is simply a trade name for this material.
Opal is a hydrated silica mineral which comprises of microscopic spheres of silica which are bound together with water and silica and there are two forms of Opal, common and precious. Common Opal is normally opaque the colour range including white, blue, pink, yellow, yellow/orange, brown or black, and all could contain dendrite formations.
Merlinite is a stone of magic, shadows and descent into the darkest, deepest places within one’s being. It takes the heart- centred energy of Manganese to its deepest level, descending into the depths of the heart and the darkest places of shadow within oneself. It reveals one’s deepest motivations and assists in connecting with and integrating the shadow self. It aids in recognising one’s most basic nature as a creation of the mind of the Divine, leading one into the void of potential from which all was created. It is a powerful ally for shamanic work, magical practises and healing. Resonance with Merlinite’s frequency connects one with the Universal flow behind all of creation. It can help one become more aware of the subtle movement of energy, as well as opening one’s psychic centres and higher perception.
It is extremely useful for those who tend to receive negative imagery, feelings or information when opening on a psychic level. If the information is necessary in order to assist another, it will protect one from embodying these difficult energies and can aid one in remaining objective. If the information is not necessary, but is coming in because of one’s own state of resonance with these levels, Merlinite can help one move beyond these frequencies into more Light- centred energies.
Merlinite can help Light workers understand how to utilise lower- frequency energy effectively. You can’t have a rainbow with just the colour purple. Similarly, you cannot deny your lower aspects and expect to integrate them into the Light. By learning to access, utilise and master the lower frequencies of the electromagnetic (Light) spectrum, one becomes whole and enlightened, embodying the balance of all polarities with wisdom and acceptance. In this way, Merlinite is truly a stone of self- mastery. Merlinite is a stone of wisdom, allowing one to understand that the greatest beauty of life lies in its mystery. Merlinite can aid one in developing patience and comprehending that one’s desires do not necessarily equate to one’s needs. Merlinite can assist one in achieving balance between the light and the dark— between the known and the unknown.
Merlinite’s energy is uniquely suited for work with natural energies and so is an excellent tool for shamans, Wiccans and others on the path of accessing the power of creation through the natural world. It can help communicate with the archetypal energies of nature, such as plant devas, animal spirits and the elemental allies. It can aid in honing one’s ability to perceive beyond the physical realm and into the spiritual and energetic realms. Its energy gives one the courage to face one’s shadow self and consciously integrate that aspect.
Emotionally, Shame, blame and self- loathing are all caused by the inability to accept all aspects of oneself. Merlinite’s energy allows one to see that there are no mistakes— only learning experiences. It can help one reconcile with the past, one’s mistakes, one’s less- than- enlightened desires and other aspects of oneself that one may wish to deny. It encourages self- forgiveness, self- acceptance and self- love. It can also assist one in working through grief and loss, as it reminds one that spirit is eternal and lasts beyond the physical.

Lingam:-
The Shiva Lingam stone is a beautiful and sacred egg-shaped stone. Originating from one of the seven holy sites of India, Narmada River in Onkar Mandhata, this stone holds a special significance in Vedic astrology. The bed of the Narmada river is said to be riddled with the microscopic debris of a crashed meteorite touching down over 14 million years ago. The entire river, not only the stones, is considered to have healing attributes. Many from around the world make a Pilgrimage to the river in hopes of benefiting from its powers.
Shiva Lingam stones are Cryptocrystalline Quartz combined with Iron Oxide deposits and a mixture of Chalcedony, Agate, Basalt, and Jasper. They come in all many sizes and are especially sought out by Shaman and healers. Considered to be one of the most powerful of stones, Shiva Lingams have an incredibly strong connection to the original creation, giving them a powerful resonation with all elements including earth, wind, fire, and water.
Lingam” is a Sanskrit word for “sign” or “symbol”. “Shiva Lingam”, thus, means “a symbol of Lord Shiva”. A stone that has been used for ages to worship Lord Shiva, it represents the infinite power of the Universe. Within ancient Hindu tradition, it’s believed the Goddess Parvati hand-shaped a Shiva Lingam out of the sand, to represent both the divine male and female energies using it to worship Lord Shiva.
Found in Western India, the stone is collected from the holy Narmada River. Traditionally collected by local villagers these stones are ceremoniously shaped and polished by hand. Even though the color of this stone varies, it is usually of a brown or tan shade and has stripes, spots of different colors like red, brown, grey, etc.
Shiva Lingam stone helps one to realize the true uniqueness that they are blessed with. Besides this, the stone connects one with the Higher Self and align our energies with the planetary energy. Shiva Lingam stones are a distinctive elongated egg shape thought to represent the cosmic egg of which all life has sprung.
The stone implies the unification of Lord Shiva with his consort Kali. It activates the base and sacral chakras and increases as well as controls the kundalini energy. Kundalini, in Hinduism, is a form of divine feminine energy and consciousness believed to be coiled at the base of the spine. Kundalini is the source of our life force or chi. Kundalini can uncoil like a snake either gradually or explosively and is triggered by spiritual practices or life events. This type of spiritual awakening can be jarring and chaotic for those not ready for the experience. However, many aim for this as it’s considered the path to spiritual enlightenment. Awakening the kundalini energy offers the potential to radically shift one's negative patterns and delusions of a separate self.
Shiva lingam stones are one of the most powerful stones used for awakening kundalini energy through meditation and energy work. If you feel yourself drawn to a shiva lingam, you know it’s time for you to begin a deeper more focused path of realization and enlightenment. The stone’s egg shape denotes masculine energy, and its pattern signifies feminine energy. This is why it balances the opposites and simplifies their
