Another material with too many names - Green Cherry Blossom Jasper, also known as Sakura Jasper, Rhyolite Green Flower Jasper, Russian Flower Agate, Flower Jade, Coral Sakura and flower jasper. This material is actually a combination of Bird’s Eye Rhyolite and Green Jasper that crystallizes in the form of masses. The Rhyolite rosettes crysatlize in pink to dark red hues, and are scattered throughout a Green Jasper matrix, which often contains natural fissures and imperfections. This stone was originally discovered in Madagascar a few years ago but similar material has been discovered elsewhere including Russia and India. This particular material is definitely from Madagascar.

Some of these pieces have natural imperfections, all of which are clearly shown in the extensive range of photos for each piece. I have priced accordingly them accordingly and they represent great value for money.

Rhyolite:-

The name Rhyolite (from Greek "rhuax" for stream or flow plus "lithos" for stone) was introduced into geology in 1860 by the German traveller and geologist Ferdinand von Richthofen.

Rhyloite can look very similar to Jaspers, and the popular green variety of rhyolite is sometimes called Rainforest Jasper. Similarly, the type of rhyolite that displays red, yellow, brown, and pinkish spots is descriptively called Leopardskin Jasper. Rhyolites, igneous rock chemically identical to granite, have beautifully markings which originated when rhyolitic magma and lava cooled from a molten state too quickly for crystals to form.

Perceived as a balancing stone, Rhyolite is often recommended to increase self-esteem, self-worth while helping to bring resolution to issues. It is stone that is thought to facilitate change, variety and progress while helping to deal calmly with challenges. Rhyolite is believed to assist in fulfilling one's goals and making one's dreams come true, while strengthening the soul, body and mind. Rhyolite has strong associations with the Earth.

Rhyolite helps one better understand themselves and the complex universe around them. Energies full of strength, endurance, drive, and transformation flow from this stone, just like the magma that once created this volcanic rock. This flow helps one balance their polarities and realign your chakra column. As this is occurring, one's emotional and mental state will slowly change due to the foreign presence moving into your “core”. As you build a deeper connection with the energies being channeled through you, you may find comfort in absorbing and releasing the blockages that are built up within your soul. These emotions can stem from past traumas or fear for what's to come. As one is unable to reverse the past or control the future, they must live in the now.

Rhyolite awakens the strength within you, helping you power through the day and achieve some form of joy and happiness. It helps to serve as a daily reminder to take time for yourself to actively create and pursue goals. These are vital to building one’s confidence so that you can show yourself, and the universe, your true capabilities. You are capable of anything if your heart, soul, and mind are aligned. The limitation is not external, and never will be.

Jasper:-

In general, Jasper is known as the “supreme nurturer”. It sustains and supports during times of stress, and brings tranquility and wholeness. Used in healing, Jasper unifies all aspects of your life. Jasper reminds people to help each other.

The word Jasper comes from “iaspi” a Greek word that means “spotted stone”. Jasper is an opaque rock of virtually any colour stemming from the mineral content of the original sediments or ash. Patterns arise during the consolidation process forming flow and depositional patterns in the original silica rich sediment or volcanic ash, Hydrothermal action is generally thought to be required in the formation of jasper.\n\nJasper is a variety of quartz that may contain up to 20 percent foreign materials or inclusions, including organic material and mineral oxides, which determine the colour, pattern and appearance of the stone. Uniformly coloured jasper is uncommon but not unheard of; usually jasper is multicoloured, spotted or banded.

Jasper can be modified by the diffusion of minerals along discontinuities providing the appearance of vegetative growth, i.e., dendritic. The original materials are often fractured and/or distorted, after deposition, into diverse patterns, which are later filled in with other colourful minerals. Weathering, with time, will create intensely coloured superficial rinds.

The classification and naming of jasper varieties presents a challenge. Terms attributed to various well-defined materials includes the geographic locality where it is found, sometimes quite restricted such as "Bruneau" (a canyon) and "Lahontan" (a lake), rivers and even individual mountains; many are fanciful, such as "forest fire" or "rainbow", while others are descriptive, such as "autumn" or "porcelain". A few are designated by the place of origin such as a brown Egyptian or red African.

Stone Flame Carvings:-

Crystal flames are captivating shapes that symbolise transformation, passion, and the eternal spark of life. Carved into twisting flame-like forms, they represent the element of fire — energy, creativity, and spiritual awakening. Their flowing design also mirrors the movement of kundalini energy rising through the chakras, making them powerful tools for deep healing and meditation.

Because of their form, crystal flames are often used to ignite personal transformation, release stagnant energy, and fuel spiritual growth. They combine the natural power of the crystal with the dynamic symbolism of fire, bringing vitality, passion, and renewal into your space.

Flames represent the fire element, associated with passion, creativity, vitality, and transformation. Spiritually, they are linked to kundalini energy — the coiled life force that rises up the spine, awakening higher consciousness.

This makes crystal flames especially powerful for meditation, energy work, and spiritual awakening practices. They serve as reminders of the fire within, inspiring courage, motivation, and renewal.
