This gorgeous specimen is Clear Quartz with Chalcopyrite, Pyrite and displays interesting Quartz Point formations interspersed with Chalcopyrite and Pyrite. This specimen weighs 76g and measures 6.5cm x 5cm x 3cm.

Clear Quartz:-

Clear Quartz, pure silicon dioxide, is also called Rock Crystal or Ice Crystal, from the Greek word “krystallos”, meaning “ice”, because crystal was believed to be water frozen so hard it could never thaw. For all its variety, when most people speak of “crystals”, they are usually referring to Rock Crystal (Clear Quartz), the six-sided prisms of pure light and energy known as the Perfect Jewel. In its sparkling light is contained the entire color spectrum.

Resonating at the level of an individual’s needs, Clear Quartz also amplifies whatever energy or intent is programmed into it, and continues to broadcast that energy throughout the world and into the etheric realms. This may accelerate the fulfillment of one’s prayers, intensify healing or spiritual growth, or simply allow the crystal to hold a pattern of energy long enough and strongly enough for the manifestation of a goal to occur.

Clear Quartz has been used as a healing tool since the Ancient times. In Shamanic practices Clear Quartz is referred to as the “light-stone”, an instrument of clairvoyance. Clear Quartz was traditionally used by Australian Aborigines and the Prairie Indians of North America as a talisman for visionary work. The Navajo believed it to be Clear Quartz that first caused the Sun to cast its light upon the world. The six sided hexagonal shape of Quartz crystal points allow them to hold a programme or intention, to magnify that energy and radiate it out into the surrounding area.

Clear Quartz is excellent for amplifying the energies of other stones or to enhance groups of stones, and is ideal for gridding. Chalcopyrite:-

Chalcopyrite was the mineral upon which Bronze Age civilizations were built. Within the last century, it also became the mineral foundation for our modern electrical age. Our primary source of copper, chalcopyrite’s name comes from the Greek words ‘chalkos’ and ‘pyrites’, which respectively mean ‘copper’ and ‘striking fire’. With its metallic luster and bright golden color, chalcopyrite can fool people into thinking it is gold. It is one of two minerals, the other being pyrite, that are commonly known as ‘fool’s gold’.

Chalcopyrite is a striking, bright yellow, metallic mineral that occurs in nearly all sulfide deposits. Initially, it may be easy to confuse chalcopyrite  with pyrite, but the two can be distinguished by their relative hardness and chalcopyrite’s iridescent tarnish. Pyrite is the harder of the two and cannot be easily scratched by a nail, unlike chalcopyrite. In its massive variety, chalcopyrite is one of the minerals most often mistaken for gold. While gold is ductile and malleable, chalcopyrite is brittle and will shatter if struck.

When Chalcopyrite is exposed to acid, its color palette changes to deep purple, blues, violets, and yellows. This treated Chalcopyrite is what you will find at most shows and crystal shops, and is commonly referred to as “Peacock Ore”. Technically “ Peacock Ore” is another mineral called Bornite, which naturally tarnishes to these colours, but it quite rare.

Chalcopyrite is one of the strongest healing stones in the mineral kingdom and is known as the chakra stone. As the chakra stone, it will cleanse, balance and align all your chakra energy centers individually. Once all are aligned, cleansed and balanced individually, this incredible multicolored stone will simultaneously align your entire physical body with that of your Spiritual and Ethereal energy bodies.
