Peach Moonstone is a potassium aluminum silicate feldspar and is also known as “Dream Stone”, “Stone Of New Beginnings”, “Traveler’s Stone” and “Stone Of Sudden Inspiration”. The colour is usually a tan brown to a very light peach/pink and the shimmer of the stone is seen best when not in direct sunlight. This change in color is believed to be caused from higher contents of aluminum within the feldspar’s chemical make-up.

Moonstone can be found in many places around the world such as Brazil, Madagascar, India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Norway, Tanzania and the United States. This particular material is from Madagascar.

It’s said that the Romans had the belief that Peach Moonstone was made from moon rays that became solid when they hit the earth. With this beautiful meaning in mind, the Romans used this stone set into jewelry to bring about fertility and protection during childbirth.

In India, newlyweds will often receive some form of Peach Moonstone as a crystal for love, commitment, and fertility. Peach Moonstone was also highly prized by the ancient Celts and cultures of the Far East for its inspiring meaning and properties.

Peach Moonstone shares the same divine feminine energies as other Moonstone varieties, but offers an extra special connection between your heart and personal will (solar plexus). One will also continue to share the same protective qualities of Moonstone as you work to explore your creative and loving energies (and how you might be able to improve them).

Peach Moonstone is a more inward-loving mineral and helps reignite your passion for the things that make you happy in this world. As one’s mind is continuously cluttered with nonsense and emotion-induced thinking, our true character gets left behind. Over time, we lose this ever strong connection we have with our inner spirits, as well as the interest that drives these feelings. As self-loving vibrations pour out of this stone every time you work with it, we want you to get in the rhythm of doing something positive for yourself. Reward yourself with a hobby you once loved or treat yourself to a place you once frequented. Try something entirely new that has been on your mind for days or even months now. These are all small things that reinforce the love you truly have for yourself. As you begin to grow more comfortable with yourself, only then can you begin to truly love the ones around you.

Peach Moonstone is all about acceptance, goodness, creativity, and loving energy. It’s also known for igniting a passion for what really makes you happy, and it can give you the courage to pursue dreams that may have been long given up. For anyone who has the fortune to tap into this energy, Peach Moonstone can really become a “Stone Of
