Red Jasper:
Daring, delicate and the dreamiest shade of fire red, Red Jasper is one of those stones that screams energy right down to its very core. Beautifully aligned with the root chakra, Red Jasper may look like trouble, but it actually comes with incredible grounding properties, inviting you to keep one foot firmly on the floor no matter how high you are flying. It’s a stone that brings balance, stamina, courage, and the inner strength of a warrior. It’s lush, it's deep, and it's utterly nurturing for the soul.
The word Jasper comes from “iaspi” a Greek word that means “spotted stone”. Jasper is an opaque rock of virtually any color stemming from the mineral content of the original sediments or ash. Patterns arise during the consolidation process forming flow and depositional patterns in the original silica rich sediment or volcanic ash, Hydrothermal action is generally thought to be required in the formation of jasper.
Jasper can be modified by the diffusion of minerals along discontinuities providing the appearance of vegetative growth, i.e., dendritic. The original materials are often fractured and/or distorted, after deposition, into diverse patterns, which are later filled in with other colorful minerals. Weathering, with time, will create intensely colored superficial rinds.
The classification and naming of jasper varieties presents a challenge. Terms attributed to various well-defined materials includes the geographic locality where it is found, sometimes quite restricted such as "Bruneau" (a canyon) and "Lahontan" (a lake), rivers and even individual mountains; many are fanciful, such as "forest fire" or "rainbow", while others are descriptive, such as "autumn" or "porcelain". A few are designated by the place of origin such as a brown Egyptian or red African.
Known as the supreme nurturer, it’s no surprise that this is one of those healing crystals you turn to in times of needing warm comfort. It’s called The Stone of Endurance and Nurturing, as it feeds back to you your own inner power that can sometimes get lost in the shuffle. When your body and mind need re-energizing, here’s how you turn to Red Jasper’s healing properties to put you back on track. Jasper can come in a range of colors; black jasper, dalmatian jasper, and even fancy jasper, but Red Jasper is the stone that comes kissed with the fiery force to carry you through. This stimulating and protective stone holds a deep red coloring, often flecked with shades of grey. Some stones can take on an orange glow whereas others can be as brick red as a chimney. The shading comes from its high level of iron, which is why it also has such a grounding glorious force. It’s a heavy stone in its heart, laced with a gravitational pull and fresh with memories of the earth's molten core. It boasts deep resonating vibrations with the earth which is why it such a solid grounding force.
Red Jasper is an ancient stone with a long history of healing. For centuries it has been celebrated as a talisman for magicians, scholars and scribes. It was also a favored stone of warriors setting out into battle, those who needed strong healing properties and a blood connection on the battlefield. According to Viking legend, Siegfried the Dragon Slayer had his magic sword inlaid with Red Jasper to give him the courage to destroy monsters. It is also said in the bible that this stone adorned the breastplate of Aaron, the first high priest. It was a stone of Isis and Amazon warriors. Native Americans also have a long history with Red Jasper, turning to it as a way to reignite health and to bring about rebirth.
Also known as The Endurance Stone, Red Jasper invites you to keep your focus and strength regardless of whatever task you are doing, especially during times of stress. For those who feel as though their mind and energy can flit out of focus, Red Jasper can bring you back. It is an exceptional tool for using as part of your meditation practice as alongside inviting endurance in difficult situations it has strong spiritual properties too.
If you are crawling out of a chaotic time in your life, Red Jasper can be used as part of the divine healing process. It’s a stone that is deeply connected to the roots, meaning that it tethers you to the earth beneath your feet, giving you the strength to stand strong as you renew and revitalize your soul. If there was ever a time to feel a new lease of life, Red Jasper works as the calendar turn.
If you feel like you go through life a little on the numb side, struggling to spark creativity and stoke your inner fire of self-confidence, then Red Jasper can help to raise your personal passion levels. Passion applies to everything, not just what goes on between the sheets. We need passion to live fulfilling lives; whether this is passion and zest for personal relationships, for the work we do, the travels we take, or the ways we choose to spend our time. Red Jasper can reignite the spark in your life and gift you emotional stability.
Buddha Symbolism:-
Because Buddha is not merely a name but also a title, sculptures of Buddha are meant to symbolise the process by which one can get a comprehensive and profound understanding of life. Hence not only do the statues and images of Buddha serve as physical representations or depictions of how Buddha appeared in his physical form, but they also serve as symbols of Buddha's teachings, good fortune, inner peace, and the motivating force that should be present in every human being.
Buddhism is consistently ranked among the most followed faiths in every region of the world. Buddhism, which was founded by Gautama Buddha on the Indian subcontinent between the 5th and 6th century B.C., quickly spread throughout Asia and is now the predominant religion in many Asian nations, including Japan, Thailand, Burma, Cambodia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Tibet, to name just a few.
Buddhism has emerged as one of the most prominent religions in the world. The Buddha's teachings are responsible for this rise in popularity. I am not going to delve deeply into the teachings of the Buddha as it is complex and there are many subtleties that I do not wish to misspeak.
This is a very, very basic summary:- Buddhist teachings revolve around the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path, both of which aim to guide individuals towards enlightenment and the cessation of suffering. The Four Noble Truths explain the nature of suffering, its causes, the possibility of its end, and the path to achieve it. The Eightfold Path provides a practical framework for living a life of mindfulness, compassion, and wisdom, ultimately leading to liberation from the cycle of rebirth.
