Quartz is a silicon dioxide mineral with a hardness of 7. Its crystal system is hexagonal which grows in a large variety of formations. It is one of the most abundant minerals, found on every continent of the Earth. Crystal Quartz exhibits the property of piezoelectricity, by which it can transform mechanical energy (eg pressure) into electromagnetic energy and vice versa.

Clear Quartz encourages clarity of thought and purpose to one’s heart and mind. It works on all levels of the energetic and physical bodies and resonates with all chakras. Clear Quartz will amplify any energy with which it moves into resonance, including other stones, constantly broadcasting that energy into the Earths electromagnetic field. Clear Quartz has been used as a healing tool since the Ancient times. In Shamanic practices Clear Quartz is referred to as the “light-stone”, an instrument of clairvoyance. Clear Quartz was traditionally used by Australian Aborigines and the Prairie Indians of North America as a talisman for visionary work. The Navajo believed it to be Clear Quartz that first caused the Sun to cast its light upon the world. The six sided hexagonal shape of Quartz crystal points allow them to hold a programme or intention, to magnify that energy and radiate it out into the surrounding area.

Lingam:-

The Shiva Lingam stone is a beautiful and sacred egg-shaped stone. Originating from one of the seven holy sites of India, Narmada River in Onkar Mandhata, this stone holds a special significance in Vedic astrology. The bed of the Narmada river is said to be riddled with the microscopic debris of a crashed meteorite touching down over 14 million years ago. The entire river, not only the stones, is considered to have healing attributes. Many from around the world make a Pilgrimage to the river in hopes of benefiting from its powers.

Shiva Lingam stones are Cryptocrystalline Quartz combined with Iron Oxide deposits and a mixture of Chalcedony, Agate, Basalt, and Jasper. They come in all many sizes and are especially sought out by Shaman and healers. Considered to be one of the most powerful of stones, Shiva Lingams have an incredibly strong connection to the original creation, giving them a powerful resonation with all elements including earth, wind, fire, and water.

Lingam” is a Sanskrit word for “sign” or “symbol”. “Shiva Lingam”, thus, means “a symbol of Lord Shiva”. A stone that has been used for ages to worship Lord Shiva, it represents the infinite power of the Universe. Within ancient Hindu tradition, it’s believed the Goddess Parvati hand-shaped a Shiva Lingam out of the sand, to represent both the divine male and female energies using it to worship Lord Shiva.

Found in Western India, the stone is collected from the holy Narmada River. Traditionally collected by local villagers these stones are ceremoniously shaped and polished by hand. Even though the color of this stone varies, it is usually of a brown or tan shade and has stripes, spots of different colors like red, brown, grey, etc.

Shiva Lingam stone helps one to realize the true uniqueness that they are blessed with. Besides this, the stone connects one with the Higher Self and align our energies with the planetary energy. Shiva Lingam stones are a distinctive elongated egg shape thought to represent the cosmic egg of which all life has sprung.

The stone implies the unification of Lord Shiva with his consort Kali. It activates the base and sacral chakras and increases as well as controls the kundalini energy. Kundalini, in Hinduism, is a form of divine feminine energy and consciousness believed to be coiled at the base of the spine. Kundalini is the source of our life force or chi. Kundalini can uncoil like a snake either gradually or explosively and is triggered by spiritual practices or life events. This type of spiritual awakening can be jarring and chaotic for those not ready for the experience. However, many aim for this as it’s considered the path to spiritual enlightenment. Awakening the kundalini energy offers the potential to radically shift one's negative patterns and delusions of a separate self.

Shiva lingam stones are one of the most powerful stones used for awakening kundalini energy through meditation and energy work. If you feel yourself drawn to a shiva lingam, you know it’s time for you to begin a deeper more focused path of realization and enlightenment. The stone’s egg shape denotes masculine energy, and its pattern signifies feminine energy. This is why it balances the opposites and simplifies their
