The name comes from the small village it was found in on the island of Sulawesi (part of the four Greater Sunda Islands). It contains multiple different colors of Jasper (blue, red, orange, yellow, grey and beige) with veins of a greyish-silver Agate that has filled the cavities.

Maligano Jasper is colorful with warm yellows, reds, beiges, and greys. It often contains rivers of agate running throughout, while other sections have floating jasper in a wide array of brecciated fractal patterns. This material also has flowering dendrites running all around revealing cherry blossom patterns.

In general, Jasper is known as the “supreme nurturer”. It sustains and supports during times of stress, and brings tranquility and wholeness. Used in healing, Jasper unifies all aspects of your life. Jasper reminds people to help each other.

The word Jasper comes from “iaspi” a Greek word that means “spotted stone”. Jasper is an opaque rock of virtually any color stemming from the mineral content of the original sediments or ash. Patterns arise during the consolidation process forming flow and depositional patterns in the original silica rich sediment or volcanic ash, Hydrothermal action is generally thought to be required in the formation of jasper.

Jasper can be modified by the diffusion of minerals along discontinuities providing the appearance of vegetative growth, i.e., dendritic. The original materials are often fractured and/or distorted, after deposition, into diverse patterns, which are later filled in with other colorful minerals. Weathering, with time, will create intensely colored superficial rinds.

The classification and naming of jasper varieties presents a challenge. Terms attributed to various well-defined materials includes the geographic locality where it is found, sometimes quite restricted such as "Bruneau" (a canyon) and "Lahontan" (a lake), rivers and even individual mountains; many are fanciful, such as "forest fire" or "rainbow", while others are descriptive, such as "autumn" or "porcelain". A few are designated by the place of origin such as a brown Egyptian or red African.

Maligano Jasper helps one shed layers within themselves that no longer serve them. These unnecessary attributes add additional weight whether it’s emotional, mental or psychological. This will only lead to negative thought patterns and bad habits. Maligano Jasper transforms our spirit from within and provides an aura that can closely resemble a “rebirth” effect. This pushes one to not only continue shedding layers of themselves, but also to begin questioning their surroundings and interactions daily. Ask yourself, “what benefit do I get by being around these people”. Most of the time one will come to the realization that the intentions of others provide no actual benefit. This mischaracterization was most likely hidden due to one’s lack of judgement regarding others.

This Jasper reminds us that our time in this physical manifestation is limited and we should make the most of it, not blast through without forethought. We manifested our time here to learn chosen lessons, to experience specific adventures, to connect with soul family on this plane. Often we run off course each time we see a shiny, sparkly new bobble or toy that we must have.

Maligano Jasper is a "get back to basics" type of stone. There is something to be said for simplicity. We tend to complicate our lives and situations when it is not necessary. Now is the time to re-evaluation, let go of non necessities, and find joy in all things, both big and small.

As you continue working with Maligano Jasper and going through the powerful transformation it brings about, one will also begin to loosen their minor obsessions with invaluable things. This revelation may be emotionally taxing, but is for the betterment of your own spiritual evolution. This will soon allow one to realise first hand one of life's most important lessons; happiness can only begin from within, and will only extend as far as you allow it to.

Brief Egg Sybolism:-

The egg is a universal symbol of life, creation, rebirth and unmatched potential. Across thousands of years, global cultures, myths, and religions have utilized the egg to represent the core mystery of existence—how a living creature or an entire universe emerges from a seemingly inanimate, closed shell.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0870/2453/3781/files/IMG_7138_b254efe4-633b-4469-8b84-25ab941d7f73.jpg?v=1794034241
